Been bitten

Post by albertajune »

Goodness knows what has bitten or stung me. Yesterday morning the side of my thigh felt very itchy and I could feel swelling. When I looked there are 3 red swollen areas each about the size if a £2 coin. I am using anti histermine cream so hopefully the itch will go soon.
Just hope it wasn't in bed with me and stripped it to make sure. I must have been tasty. {rofwl}

Do you think it was a dog flea. They say that pet fleas leave people alone because they prefer their chosen host, but once that isn't around they get hungry. Not sure how long after the pet they hang around.

Don't think so Mo but remembered that I had been cutting down amongst the shrubs in the garden the afternoon before I found it, so may have had something crawl up my trouser leg. Red not spreading so hopefully will go in the next few days. )t'

I think it may be an ant, June with you being outside. Some of them have a really nasty bite which makes you very itchy, sore and hot.
Hope it stops itching soon.

I think that is what bit me. The swelling took abt a week to go completely.
