Having my OP tomorrow.

Post by albertajune »

I attended a clinic today and was told that my operation to have a tumour removed from my bladder is scheduled for tomorrow morning. Feeling a bit nervous at just being out at this time but it has to be done. I will only be in over night if all is well after. I have to be by 7.30am so hope the alarm goes off . Have to be up in time for a shower and leave here before 7. Fingers crossed I have set t up alright.
I am now a widow and live with my memories.

Hi June. Only just caught up with this, so hopefully everything has gone well for you.

Being in hospital is not great at the best of time so here's wishing a speedy recovery.

Hello again all. I came home after lunch today and had a nice sleep. The tumour has been removed and hopefully no more treatment. I have to wait for a couple of weeks for the result back from the lab. It was such a relief when the catheter came out this morning as that was
very painful. Anyway all well now or will be once the effects of having a tube down my throat go. At the moment living on yoghurt, soup and ice cream as as my throat is sore and prickly,
but not complaining.
I was sent to a very nice private hospital, own room, TV, but like all hospitals, central heating still on so had the window open all night. Lovely to be home.
