Hernia update

Post by fabindia »

It will be two weeks tomorrow since my op and I am just about back to normal.

I was very stiff and it was painful moving for the first few days and getting in and out of bed wasn't great. I took paracetamol a few times a day at first but after 3 or 4 days only before bed at night. After 7 days didn't need anything.

Even though there is no pain now I am guessing that internally the mesh still needs a bit more bedding in and I should avoid the temptation to carry on as before so I will give it a few more weeks before I start running, digging the garden etc. but otherwise things are looking good.

It will all take time Michael. I am still wary of lifting two and a half months after my big gynae op. It is frustrating though!
