Thank you Mrs B.

I fancied doing some weaving so I made a wall hanging. Drilled some holes through a piece of driftwood, threaded jute through them, wove scraps of fabric and wool through it, and tied them to another piece of wood at the bottom. Added large buttons. A friend said his girlfriend would love it, so he bought it as a Christmas gift.

Very colourful, lovely.
I have just finished 11 cross stitch cards for charity.
They are packed to send tomorrow.

That's a lot of stitching Wendy, I bet the recipients will love them. )t'

I've made some flowers to sell on a charity stall at the Christmas Fair. Cut up colourful plastic, knitting needles for spikes, blinged with nail varnish, glitter, and sequins. Will be fine outdoors in pots of flower beds.

I've just finished covering this stone, it's a bit bigger than the previous one. A piece of green felt covered with stitching, beads, sequins, and small shiny objects. Two broken earrings, and rings with wool wrapped round them. I shall keep this because I like it.

I made four of these earlier in the year. They were decorations for the garden. Now I have made six more and hot glued rings on the back so they can be hung on the wall. Two cd's glued together, cutlery bent in half and threaded through the hole in the middle, sequins, nail varnish and glitter added. I will sell these at the Christmas Fair for the cat rescue.

They all look great MQ, but I love the cutlery ones the best. Well done you.

I went to a workshop on Sunday at a sewing shop in Brigg, and made a table mat which I have turned into a wall hanging. It was £48 for six hours, all materials and lunch included. It was fun.

Love the covered stone Ilona. The patchwork bag is beautiful. Said it in another vlog, but they didn't show enough of your makes on Look North.

I have recently made a glasses case out of some of my existing patchwork, and yesterday knitted a case for sunglasses out of little bits of wool left over from the charity jumpers I knit for the street kids in South Africa. Having to wear sunglasses to protect my left eye following cataract surgery.

I did alright, Gwen. Disappointed that the cutlery wall decorations didn't sell, not one, and only three of the plastic flowers on sticks sold. The bags sold very well, which I was surprised about because a lot of people have already bought one previously. One lady likes them so much she bought five more. Some of the small gift bags sold. And I sold four artworks, at a reduced price of £10 each. Need to make room for the next lot I make. :-D
