My Hobby

Post by wendy »

Hi Folks,
On a Wednesday evening, the only evening we are at home all the time.
I do cross stitch. Mainly native American's. I love them and their outlook on life. They also just look so majestic. My conservatory is now full and Spencer has said we will have to be like the Tate Gallery and start to alternate ones on the wall.
Strangely enough I cannot sew to save my life and hate sewing on buttons etc. But I can really lose myself in my cross stictch.

My boss split his trousers at work, so he sewed them back together while still wearing them using surgical thread, & realised hours later he'd sewn them to his pants )j; what a star! He could have done with you, you could have done a little chief sitting bull on them )t'
Cheers

Hi Wendy

I am also a cross stitch fan. Like you can't sew for toffee - can't even use the sewing maching without jamming it up. However I love the peace that doing a bit of cross stitching brings and the fact that I just lose myself.
