Update on Our Craft Group

Post by bluebell »

Posted some months back that my friend and I had started a craft group.

To be honest we thought we would last about three sessions - because villagers, in the past, have attempted to instill a bit of community spirit and not got very far.

Well, we have fortnightly gatherings and one week we might have someone demonstrating a craft and then the next time we have a free and easy where we all bring along works in progress to carry on with.

We have even joined Yorkshire Countrywomen's Association :-D

I shouldn't really be writing this, but last Wednesday Angela brought along some home made Cherry Brandy and Bramble Whisky, I was crocheting and had two thimbleful's of samples - wow, very potent. :oops:

Thank you for your kind words.

Um, well the brandy and whisky were separate until I drank them. :oops:

Sadly, it didn't do my crocheting any good. Somehow between taking first sip and drinking last drop what started off as a crochet square ended up a circle (seriously!!).

sounds better than a cup of tea! As for the crochet going wonky, it's just art. Exhibit it and you'll become famous overnight {rofwl}
