A practice water colour

Post by albertajune »

Image
A picture of my friends dog that she lost some time ago. I had to work from a few snaps to get his colour right. It must be like him as she shed a tear.
I am not much good at water colour and this was a practice pic and I know that there is lots of room for improvement. Prefer acrylics or oils.
I am now a widow and live with my memories.

very nice June, really captures the texture of his fur. You ARE good at watercolours! I used to love using watercolour pencils, they're gathering dust under the bed now, never any spare time.
