Sign petition to stop the ban on Iceland's commercial

Post by fabindia »

Yes. I know that Iceland are trying to make a big thing of the fact they no longer allow palm oil in any of their products, but they do have a very valid point.

We have been to Borneo and seen the Orangutans in the sanctuary there where they rescue orphans and other displaced orangutans from land cleared for palm oil production.

I didn't know what orangutan meant until I looked it up after I noticed a sign in a lift where we were stay that said something like '6 Orang Max'. Orangutan actually means people of the forest. It's about time we gave all great apes the same legal rights as us humans. It would be only right in my opinion.

Just realised I have not seen the Iceland ad recently, so does that mean that they have been banned does anyone know?
