I am as guilty as others. I could write about my "blue light" rush into hospital but not very interesting. I no longer have any chickens as that was my main interest on here. Since downsizing nearly 4 years ago, I have been planning and planting a large blank canvas garden. I still do my dog home boarding. Just getting older!!!!!

Are you OK now? It sounds dramatic.

Yes, there have been some interesting members, from all over the world. Most come then go. And we've had some stirrers to, though not the abuse that some internet sites attract.

The statistics at the bottom of the index page are interesting. In the last 2 hours there have been 203 people looking - the 4 who have recently posted, 4 hidden (or bots) and 195 guests. So people are still reading. Are there are loads of members though if you look at the members list quite a lot joined years ago and have never posted.

Since i have been a volunteer for BHWT i check the fb page everyday from my phone and can post photos on there within seconds unlike on here when i have to go through a third party and since i got a laptop having an inbuilt mouse makes it frustrating dragging the photo from the thrird party onto here }hairout{ BUT i always check on here first thing in the morning and i am still primararily interested in the chicken section. Without this forum i would never had the chance to meet chickeny people(although now being invovled with hen rescue i meet a lot more) and i would never had got the opportunity to meet fellow diarists. We have had six meet ups over the last couple of years which are always a joy, meeting at central places to ourselves and visiting one anothers homes, we have plans for a further meet up ongoing. I have to say i usually ring Bob if he posts a problem and keep up with my bantams progress who i rehomed with Kitla via whatsup as we can exchange photos and videos and news instantly. Apart from photos which are not the main priority i am really only comfortable typing a sentence or two on the phone as i have sausage fingers and although i expect this is full of typos and bad grammar it probably would be almost unreadable if i posted on the phone not to mention me losing the will to live {rofwl}
Wendy where is Helen then? she posted not that long ago?

I suffered SOB!!! Nothing to do with crying but "sudden onset of breathlessness". I could fault my Dr. but not the NHS once I arrived at the A&E. My Dr. said it was my asthma...WRONG......put me on a nebuliser at the surgery....WRONG. The Paramedics who came were great and up to their eyes un calls, hence I think they were being a bit naughty with the blue lights. I had got pulmonary embolisms in BOTH lungs. Put onto anticoagulants and in hospital for 4 days. They still don't know what caused them....totally baffled. The downside was I had to cancel 2 holidays as was not allowed to fly. I have my first review at the beginning of November. I feel fine and just want to get back on a plane. I was allowed to fly to Guernsey in September, over to my daughter as was sitting the g'children and dog but it is only an hour.
