Liz, my daughter has Dyspraxia, I've only met one adult that had and discussed this issue.
So either miss call me, or could you PM sum info on it, please. Yes I know stuff, but want to confirm/add to the knowledge. )t'

My old dad, gawd bless his soul. was a time served Joiner, carpenter, cabinet maker. come plasterer, bricklayer, plumber. all round building person. My mother hardly ever got a shelf built, a room decorated, or any maintenance done in the home what soever. +pirate+

This is really interesting and makes me think what I can do. I can build a Dry Stone wall, lay a patio, drive a tractor, ( well it's been a while.) I have raised two teanagers so have all the skills that go with that. I knit toys and baby clothes, enjoys most crafts but not card making, play the flute. I am a TA in a special needs school so have a working knowledge of orthotics, physiotherepy, speech and language therepy, ASD. I am qualified to teach people with special needs to swim. Have level 2 BSL. Speak French and German, ( Can get by) My OH is a cheff so can cook a bit. Can drive. A bit of DIY, I'd rather not spend money when I could give it ago.

Like most posts here, general DIY, carpentry, basic electrics etc, handbuilt our kitchen (see link!), with the exception of the granite worktops!. Put in own central heating, built extension (which is now the kitchen!), layed tiles & wooden floors and flat roofs, rubbish at plastering!
Occupation, field service engineer, specialising in printers, scanners and wide format plotters..
