Two new Gates

Post by Richard »

One in the front garden (the postman with his sarcy remarks about the old one finally got to me !!).
The wood is second hane T&G's plus some teak for the frame from old benches.

This led to me fixing the 'fencing' which are basically the backs of old benches.

After that I've started to dig flower beds for a large wild flower selection (Christmas Present plus some freebies from Countryfile).
That led to one tree coming down. I've plenty of trees for the birds and this one was blocking off the Laurel and the light in summer.

I then sorted one of the other side gates out. Again T&G's and some old wood which was knocking about.

All in all, the price of about 20 screws and 40 nails.

A bit of a selection Mo, I fumbled through about 3 tins !!

I'm not very good at keeping all the sizes together.
