I realise that buying Point-of-Lay chickens would be more expensive, due to the feeding and care for a few months more. A couple of farms round here charge £12.50 and £16 for various Point-of-Lay hybrids. Re: HAVE WE BEEN RIPPED OFF?I'm in Oxfordshire and we paid £10 each for our Light Sussex, Black Rock and Cotswold Blacktail Point-of-Lay hens a few weeks ago.
I believe they have gone up to £11 each now However, we normally have ex-batts which are a proper bargain! |
