Just read the posts about your girl, Mad Chick. It must have been a dreadful shock for you. Glad she seems to be OK, and like Nefertari, hope your bill is not colossal.

She's back and tucking into some sweetcorn and grapes )c(
Quite a few stitches - I think I can count 16 but a very neat job so shouldn't be any need for a plastic surgeon :-D
They've used disolveable stitches so hopefully no need to go back but he did say I could take her back for a check-up in a week or so at no extra cost if I was worried.

The vet has told me to keep her separate tonight and put her back with the others (under supervision) tomorrow.

I'm tempted to keep her indoors in the dog crate tonight as she she still may be a bit shocked and feeling poorly from the anaesthetic. Although I do still have my old coop with little run at the bottom of the garden so I could put her out there... where do you think she'd be happier? >coc<

If it were me i would keep her indoors tonight, especially if its cold out... And after having had an anestetic. {hug}

Fingers crossed that she recovers ok.... Any thoughts on what may have caused it?

I am so glad shes back and you can both recover. )t'
I would be tempted to keep her in the dog crate somewhere quiet overnight.
If she has had stitches it may keep her activity down {hug} >ch<
