New Walk-in-Run MK9

Post by Steve valentine »

Decided to build a bigger better run to replace the greenhouse and run that I had previously, partly because the back garden was looking a little like Zak Dingles yard...

It's 16'x6' in total, 12x6 is the run with a 6x4 greenhouse on the end, I would have had it all run but mrs v wanted a bit of greenhouse.

The base is made from 8"x2"x16' joists with 2x2" uprights. Covered on all sides including roof with 16g mesh, overbattoned with 2x1" and 2" screws. The run is on flags and is totally fox proof.

The greenhouse, using glass from my old greenhouse, I've also glazed the door.

On the off chance of the roof blowing off the battons that are held on with 4" screws, there's weldmesh under the roof sheets.

Image

Double doors at the far end of the run.

I saw the plants in a separate area on looking properly, that's why I've edited my first reply. Other people will wonder what we are on about :?
