Favourite wee ex batt Jessica passed away last night!

She was right as rain a few days ago, then just like that you can tell shes in the end game, Ive lost 5 ex batts now and it never gets easier, knowing there is just nothing you can do {cry} .

She had over a year of freedom, so im grateful for that.

Named after Jessica the rabbit with her floppy comb she was such a character, RIP wee lass {cry}

Adopting ex battery hens is so rewarding in countless ways but you do need to be prepared for their stay with you to be short and that is hard. It hurts & never gets any easier - but I'm sure you know that...

We are always getting our hearts broken with these little hens. Theynever stay long enough.
But they are oh so worth every single day they have with us.
Well done you for giving her a life.

Ah, so sorry. I lost my first a week ago....it's so hard on us when they go {cry}
