Meet Donald and Daisey

I know this is the chicken section, but I wanted you all to meet my ducks

This is there house, they just don't know that's what it is }hairout{

And prefer to sleep under the decking, if you look closely you can just see duck legs

I love ducks .

Any fish in the pond ?

We had some that just turned up years ago , nested had the ducklings , ate all my fish food , poohed in the house and then disapeared without a thanks {rofwl}

Yes we have fish, the ducks are calls and only small. They have eaten all the weed from the pond, which is what we wanted them to do.

They are just lovely .. If only I had the space and a pond

Thank you Chookaholic. It certainly is not a "nice garden" in the nice neat sense. But it is a working garden with veg plot, greenhouse, poly tunnel, chicken home and pond for the duckies. It's my garden and I love it. As for entertaining, well so long as you don't mind stepping over the chicken poo, and are happy with chickens around your feet while you relax or eat your food,then it's ok +f+
I decided a few years ago that I don't have a garden for the few times each year I may have posh visitors, I have a garden that suits me all year round )t'

Love that pond! I really want one for my girls but just know it will be impossible to keep clean. Thanks for sharing.
