How terribly sad to hear of the sad loss of one of the infamous Spice Girls, and a founding Henpal. Zigaziga over the Bridge, Ginger and show 'em what Hen Power really means!

Sad loss of left leg purple ring , from the first groups of girls from FSFH . Had never been a problem girl and very much a foot slogger . Had 2 years extended life of freedom . Died on the nest , presume a heart failure as not any other signs of illness , but of which she may have covered up.
Not named as never given cause to worry. One of the girls that made up the flock . She will be missed in many ways .
Fly high and meet Penelope and Red in fields of green.

Condolences to the House of Penelope and Red on the loss of one of heir comrades.

Also huge condolences, as befitting her statuesqueness, on the loss of Treacle of Chickenopolous. Treacle will (no pun intended) leave a huge hole in her flock and we hope that Bill and his Ladies will remember her at her best, and not feel too sad at her passing. Treacle passes over the bridge to join Smidge and the other Opolouses who are waiting to welcome her back

Also our best wishes go to the Minichas on the loss of Angel, very sad indeed to hear of her untimely passing. We hope Phoebe and the Big Girls are okay after their trauma, and of course condolences to them and their mummy and daddy

I have just come back from the vets without Marigold.
We saw a really nice vet called Gail, who had seen Marigold before when she said Marigold had a growth a few months back. At the time Marigold was still enjoying life and we both agreed that we would see how she progressed and while she was still eating and drinking to leave her and access the situation if things changed.
Unfortunately they did, Marigold had been late coming out of the coop the last few days and even though she seemed to be eating and drinking she was very thin and her growth had grown very large. She would often just stand around puffed up.
I was worried she was now in pain and Gail thought that she now was, so i made the only decision i could and had her PTS cuddled in my arms.
I will miss you terribly and loved you dearly. Fly high little one.
