Well done Jannie, I do love seeing your pictures and everybody else's too {hug}

My beans were a bit slow to start off with, but they're going great guns now and we've had three or four lots )eat(

I can't believe it's over a month since I've been able to update on here .. keeping my fingers crossed that my broadband connection holds now!! >fi<

Still producing enough veg to keep us fed :-D .. The runner beans are still producing .. though picking every other day now with most going in the freezer whilst we make the most of the salad crops
Image

Despite the poor summer this has been a good year for tomatoes..Image

Not such a good year for apples ..lots rotted on the trees so decided to pick the rest last week ..just about enough for my chutneys and for freezing some for winter deserts ..
Image

I tried a new variety of cucumber this year called picolino .. it produces lots of mini cucumbers which the grandkids love ..

A good year for tomatoes {rofwl} , think a few of us may disagree there Jannie !
Glad the internet is back on for you - your garden diary is always a treat and one of the reasons I will try again next year - it has to be my turn at some point.
It will be alright in the end , if its not alright, it isn't the end .

All of them Jannie {rofwl}

Mrs Boodles, you will love the camaraderie of the diaries, and Jannie will be keeping an eye on the thread and judging photo's )c(

so she can't post any pics herself, that would be cheating )grin2(

Well I feared the worst when hubby woke me this morning to tell me we'd had a frost last night!!!! ... I checked the green house and apart from being full of condensation was fine ..still a load of tomatoes despite having made chutneys and frozen batches for sauces..

Image

Image

The big cucumbers have almost finished but the mini ones are producing loads..
Image

The runner bean plants are looking scruffy now but still lots of beans coming .. they seems to love my chicken poo tea )grin2(
Image

and plenty of greens to eat .. the chard has done particularly well this year..
