Perchy's Pottager Patch 2012

Post by perchy »

Well, I have today been to Aldi and they have seeds at 39p, I know I have most of them but they made me feel all excited and so I bought some, I have seeds I have kept from last year, and so have found a few of them out )c(

I have been looking at my old photo's of when I started my first diary, if I can do it anyone can, as we have the girls, we don't have alot of room for veggies, but I am hoping to extend this year and still want a pottager theme.

Beautiful pics and garden, Perchy. It's amazing how exciting it is to see new packets of seeds; it gets those fingers itching to start things up again~

Well you will have to use your imagination on this )t'
I have been wanting to have a bit of extra room for veggies, last year was good but not really enough room for potatoes etc, so today uni Son and I started

Image

this has always been a little bit of a wasted area, and since the girls took over the garden , space has been well used, not this bit, so out came the angled trellis, we will move it, waste not and all that

Image

Then the top of the "grass" came off and went into a barrow ready for the girls to play with

Image

It is coming on now, trellis moved to make a better fence and a straighter line, will be able to grow beans and peas and nasturtians and sweetpeas up there

Image

when it had been dug again and raked, we let the gardeners on it to help break up the soil {hug}

Image

Probably put potatoes in half of it, and have a think about it, no rush, have the greenhouse to sort yet yike*

Perchy and Uni son )app( )app( )app( .

Looking out of the window here at the pouring rain and mud mud mud , I can't imagine anything growing in mine. Maybe hard work but how lucky that the weather allowed you to get stuck in so early in the year - looks like my garden about May time {rofwl}
