Visit 2

Good half hour today taking more moulds and selecting colour and shape.

Next is a visit to the Lab on Monday where they try it on and fiddle around with what I like and what I don't, then back to the Dentist next Friday.
He's also loking at the silicone sides and building out a little.

Looks like I may have them week after next.

Sounds good Richard, I did wonder if you were going to go for some nice pink pegs though when you mentioned about choosing colour! {rofwl}

I guess there'll be lots of shades and they'll find the one to best match hey? :-D

I'm thinking you should have them by now, Richard? Please get us up to date on your "denture adventure"! And a picture maybe?

Sorry for delay !! The Dentist took these pics this morning

Up-date on my new Dentures

Well, here's the old and the new.

Not finished yet, he wants to make the two front one's very slightly longer and pad the sides out still to give the jaw a bit more bumph.

This is the third visit and probably another four to go plus a trip to the Lab.

The price will still be £800.

The existing teeth, see how it's affected the lip smile and slanted, looking at it he still thinks it's the effects of a small 'stroke proper'

Here's the new Set..

Can't wait to get them !!

If you look at almost any photo of me you will see I never open my mouth to smile, always had a complex about my teeth plus with the existing one's now.

The Dentist is an amazing Guy, he really spends time with you taking loads of pictures for his own files etc.

For what it's doing for me, I think it's worth every penny.

Sure it's a shame it all came to this, but, there you go !

Thanks for your kind and positive comments, really appreciated.

Thank you Julie, I thank all for their comments, but you're the one who spotted it :-D

The first thing he asked me a few weeks back was 'what sort of smile do you want' and we went from there.
