What hot tip for keeping girls cool ?

What is your tip for keeping your girls cool ?
Last year to keep the mine busy for about 10 seconds and to keep them cool we had sweet corn and pea bobbing {rofwl} A bowl of water and sweet corn and peas .Not only are they having fun but you know they are drinking .

Last year we froze some ice cubes with peas inside, our girls had a great time chasing them round the run {rofwl}

We bought quite a few melons from the greengrocer the other day, very cheaply because they were almost past their best. We ate what we could, and froze the rest, cut in half for the chickens - they've been going mad for it!

I'm afraid my cooling tip is far less inventive - I put a duvet cover over the run roof to add shade and add an extra drinker :?
