Last year we froze some ice cubes with peas inside, our girls had a great time chasing them round the run The talent for being happy is appreciating and liking what you have, instead of what you don't have

Re: What hot tip for keeping girls cool ?We bought quite a few melons from the greengrocer the other day, very cheaply because they were almost past their best. We ate what we could, and froze the rest, cut in half for the chickens - they've been going mad for it!

In which case Perchy, we will do this next time you visit hahaha! I'm afraid my cooling tip is far less inventive - I put a duvet cover over the run roof to add shade and add an extra drinker  Helen xx
