I use bales too and so far have had no problem. I pay £2.50 for a bale which lasts me 2/3 months. If I bought bags it would be £3.60 per bed change :shock:

I put silver sand in and mix diatom so that when they have a dust bath they are also getting a dose of diatom to help ward off any nasty little critters! In my girls run they have an old little plastic chair, gravel pit, sand pit, upturned plant pots and branches. The little so and so's ignore everything bar the gravel and sand pit! :-D

Well done!! I've been thinking about it because I want to stop smoking but am scared :shock: It really annoys me that a little tube of poison rules my life and is slowly killing me.
