As many of you will know I’ve been a keen follower of Garden Wildlife both for the benefit of a good eco system round and about plus, since a more ‘normal’ type of retirement, very interested in Photography.
With more time on my hands and a One-Man Campervan I’m now exploring further afield, venturing far more than I used to into Woodland and Wetlands around here in Ashford, my native Kent and further afield in Sussex, Hampshire and Scotland!
As I go about my exploring, I’m learning so much, especially what effect wildlife has on our environment plus the utmost importance to conserve for the future – as a look through the RSPB Web Sites A-Z of birds, it’s most worrying that birds we almost tripped over just a few years ago are now endangered and on their Red List.
It’s not just Birds, Hedgehogs for example are now the 9th. most endangered species in the UK.
So this Blog / Diary is really just to record where I’ve been, what I’ve been up to and remind myself how much more I have to learn about the workings of our beautiful Planet.
How often I post will vary, but I’ll be hoping to make an entry at least once a week.
