Re: Kyla's Diary

Thanks for the welcome back all :-) The white one decided to try and escape again, went to check on them all just before their bedtime to discover she had wedged herself in between the house and the run. No idea how long she had been there but does'nt seem any worse for her ordeal. It was only a gap...

Re: Motorbikes .....

Have just recently got my scooter back on the road after leaving it in the garage for a few years. Had a small bit of work done on it, one of the side panels and mudguard fixed up/resprayed after going down the road sideways. https://fbcdn-sphotos-c-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-ash4/1064743_10151894987...

Re: Kyla's Diary

I have'nt named them yet. I went down the curry route with my last 3, Korma, Tikka & Masala. This time I'm thinking of maybe the Good Life.....Tom, Barbara, Jerry & Margo, as Jerry can be a female name albeit with a G.....not sure what female name shortens to Tom though but that does'nt real...

Re: Kyla's Diary

It looks like the girls have settled in overnight, they took themselves off to bed ok apart from the Suffolk Blacktail who insisted on sitting at the top of the ramp. I suspect she was being picked on by the grey one as there was a bit of a racket. I've found the trouble maker out of the bunch: Lets...

Re: How did the Fox get into your Chickens?

I will definitely wait until Spring before I get more and this time Mr Fox will have no chance of getting in, I'll make sure of that! Did'nt have a very good day that day, in the evening the police came knocking and said my dad had been hit by a car in Ashford, so he's now in CCU at a London Hospita...

Re: How did the Fox get into your Chickens?

Hi all, not been on here for a while. Thought I'd just let you know that when I came home from work today I found that a fox had killed all my girls. Found 2 bodies and 1 missing, am guessing the fox took her as there is blood/feathers everywhere. The house and separate run were on slabs but it look...

Re: Think I'm falling apart

I'm getting a bit nervous now. This time tomorrow I'll be on my way to the hospital. I've managed to get most of the jobs I wanted to do around the house done ie clean the kitchen cupboards out etc. Tomorrow morning about 4.30 I'm off to the supermarket to get the supplies in because I won't beable ...

Re: Photography

I would love to get into photography as a hobby. At the moment I just have a HP 10m Digital camera. Maybe when I ever come into some money I will get an SLR. A 2nd cousin who I found through my family tree research is an amateur photographer and his photo's are fantastic with his SLR.

The hospital phoned yesterday and I'm to go in for day surgery on 5th November So finally 22 months of having this injury its going to be fixed I'm a bit nervous about it but I can't carry on hobbling around like I have been for nearly 2 years. I'm sure the Dr's know what they a...

Re: Think I'm falling apart

Thanks Dom.
Quilling is strips of paper rolled up and glued. In Victorian times they used to decorate cabinets etc. I need to find myself a hobby while I'm off from work, any ideas?
