Re: Deadly Larch Fungus

I also have similar views from my house too. But I will say that although they destroyed all the biberry bushes (about 800yds from my house) ...

Re: Seamless, comfortable socks!

Re: Can my girls (hens) eat meat ?

My chickens (to my amazement) eat mice. I discovered this when cleaning them out and could hear a hich pitched squeaking, this then abruptly cut off!! I decided to stand and watch to see what was causing the commotion, to find the girls (and georgi the turkey) acting like velociraptors and hunting f...

Re: Book exchange

I run two of these exchange libraries at work, I began as a way of clearing my own book shelves (Bit of a hoarder ) and the idea took off (the management even provided the shelving) - 2 years later we are still reading fresh books - I take the ones that don't seem to move very well to a local 2nd ha...

Re: Upside down gardening

I tried the tiered pop bottle idea from indestructables and attached them to my trellis fence with herbs and geraniums in, they are all growing well and its interesting to watch the root balls getting bigger. )t'

Re: the wolfe was sick.

I have just got over an unnamed viral infection too. I have never had such a bad headache before, it was worse than the aching muscles and made me feel constantly sick. The only thing that worked for some respite were strong painkillers. ))sun

Goji Berries

Hi everyone,
I quite like Goji berries, but soak them before using. If you watched 'grow your own dr-ugs' there was a recipe for chicken soup with goji berries that works quite well. They do seem to give you a boost during the day too. 8)
