Re: Poorly RoseHer crop should not be full in the morning as she should have digested her food over night so should be empty. Have you tried turning her up side down to see if liquid comes out her beak she might have sour crop.

Re: Run incorporating hedge?As long as there is fox proof barrier ie mesh or wall all the way round and the bush is inside this I think they will like it as it will be shelter and shade.
Re: Plastic Chicken CoopI Have a 10ft by 8ft plastic shed I have it in the middle of a large run I use cat litter trays with lids for nest boxes and drain pipe for perches I didn't cut a little door because it is in the middle of the run I just leave the door open then shut it at night the run is made of heras panels.

Re: How many Chickens have you ? - POLLI charge £35 a week for a pen and you can put up to 10 chickens in the pen and if its a stay for less than a week its £6 a night per pen with a minimum charge of £20 per stay.

Re: Hens arriving next weekend....I put them in the run and just go out when its dark and catch them and put them in the coop after a couple of nights they seem to have worked it out and go into the coop.
