Re: Water Butt Offer

Just to add to this ALID have the 210 ltr ones on sale (from 7th March) with stand and all the fittings.
I bought 3 of these a few years ago (2 for the shed at the allotment) and they are still going strong. )t'

Re: light bulbs

I have just replaced some bulbs in the kitchen (reflector type) with halogen ones which are a kind of half way bulb ie 42w = old 60w and just as bright. I had previously tried low energy ones in the kitchen but they were very dull and slow to even become dull, so I was very pleased that the halogen ...

Seeds in DASA

Offer on in DASA at present 3 packs of Johnston's seeds for £4. This is an okay offer as most packs cost £1.99 each but the best bit is that amongst the seeds there are packs of 6 different Tomato or sweet and hot peppers (all packed seperately within the packs), these are normaly £3.99 each per pac...

Re: Stargazing - Live

I watched it because one of my blogger friends works at Jodrell, although he wasn't on duty when they filmed it. Have to admit I fast forwarded it a bit, not keen on Dara O Brien. Ilona I agree with you on Dara O'Brien. I watched about five minutes of the first one and changed channel as he only se...

Hi Spudley, I'm with the others! Please keep going. Have just found this thread and have total respect for you. I would love to give this a go and have been quoting bits and bobs across the room to my DH. He's well impressed too and we would love to pay off our mortgage. (He has even just made it h...

Re: Ceiling wallpaper help please

Thanks Foggy, but we moved from that house years ago.
Still have some regrets over that as it was a nice stone built house with a real fire. But we have lots of happy memories from that time (distemper not being one of them).

Re: Ceiling wallpaper help please
