Re: Pale combHi HenPen I always give mine live maggots when they are moulting, also sunflower hearts and a food dollop of cod liver oil in their mash.Good for their feathering, and keeps them warm. Hpe she soon feels better..Maggie....

I also live on my own, about 3 months ago Foxy got n and killed all 16 of my lovely lovely girls,just ripped their heads off and left them..I had to take a deep breath and do as Chookmike adv. I now it wont be easy but best get it over and done with...P>S ......

Re: Dear ChickensHi Georgina, They certainly can give you the runaround can't they..I found the easiest and and most effective treatment is to smear Vaseline on their legs, do it from the feet upwards and it will go under the scales and suffocate the mites. I do it once a fortnight ish.or when i think about it.. Goo...
