hi there, thanks for asking, not too bad thanks, had a pretty bad year all in all, roll on next year when things can only get better, sorry not been about, just feel a bit intimidated on here regarding the fox threads. Lost 4 of my girls over the last yr and debating whether to rescue more or not......

I totally agree, maybe she saved herself for when she knew I wouldnt be there, I found one dead before and it shocked me, god only knows how I would of been had I of found her.

Thanks everyone, still very hard to deal with, we were very fortunate to have her for a year, she was one strange bird, cross chicken/dog. I dont think I will ever be able to buy grapes again without thinking of her Its going to take a while to get over losing her, probably would of helped if she ap...

Im sure by morning others who know a lot more than I do will advise but Im sure they will all advise you separate her as blood will attract the others into pecking her and Ive seen what they can do.
you will need to find why shes bleeding though.

Lynne shes not laid for months, none of them have. Ordered some meal worms today to help ease my guilty conscience. not only was she bombing to the fridge everytime I went near it but started scrounging food off out plates... there is a few links on here on old posts re live mealworms, i was actually just looking for it myself as i need to buy some.
dried ones you can get anywhere even tescos but live are best by far.

update: Lucky is now back out with the others & 100% recovered once again. She is getting chased occasionally but nothing to worry about, i put anti pecking spray on her which i add is the most disgusting smell ever, no wonder no one bothered about her with that on! She still is trying the sad f...

lol... yes steve what fun that is especially with one who doesnt want to go back! She went out for a dust bath today while the others were locked in and relished in the fact that they couldn't get her, was out there for about 40 mins wallowing in it then when she finally decided to get out we chucke...

Update: Today shes been walking all round the house eating for england and talking loads, i cleaned up her prolapse with my bare hands as i ran out of gloves and with lots of prep h on cling film popped it back in where it has stayed, her vent looks lovely today, her bum feathers that never grew bac...
