...but how do you learn to be assertive, and positive about holding your bit of road, when you are inexperienced and timid? Is it just practice? Pretty much I suppose, yes. It helps once you've had a few scary moments, nothing like a bit of focussed fear and anger to get the assertive juices flowing

I have a lovely old hand operated Singer machine complete with boat shuttle! That's the kind mine is I did lots of Googling today while my finger heals and found out it was made in 1898 How many things made today will be around and working in 112 years Gotta raise a hat to Singer, they made 'em to ...

Have you got an instruction manual for the machine? If not, try googling [other search providers are available] & see if you can find one. Get some scrap material & have a play with stitch length etc & see what works best for you :) You can buy denim needles - worth the investment for f...
