Plants for Patios

Can anyone advise me what would be the best plants to grow on my very hot south facing patio? They would have to be in pots and ideally I'd like something that I can train to grow along the fence. Any help would be appreciated as I don't want to buy something and find out it was the wrong thing. Man...

Re: 24 Hour Blood Pressure Monitor!

I have also been on the 24 hour BP monitor on two occasions as I went through a few phases where my blood pressure was very high every time I stepped foot into the doctors surgery. My machine used to go off every half an hour in the day time and every hour at night time. I also had every test going ...

Tom Kitchin-Very Proud Auntie Moment

My nephew Damon is 18 and he is a 2nd year student training to be a chef at Fareham College and he's doing really well. He also works part time in a restaurant in Chichester. Both his tutors at college and his boss are very happy with him and are supportive and are always encouraging him to aim high...

Re: Positive about losing weight this time

I'm feeling quite happy at the moment as i've lost just over a stone doing Slimming World and i've dropped down a dress size from a 14 to a 12. I was also quite happy that i'd lost weight off my face and neck as I always complain about having chins. However, I was examining my face earlier on and I ...

Re: Gareth Malone The Choir

I watched the final episode of this last night and thought it was fantastic. It now seems that Chris Evans (Radio 2) is backing a campaign to get the song released and to the number one spot in the charts for Christmas. How amazing would that be? :-D

Re: I plucked up courage to see Physio

Those kettlebells seemed to become quite "trendy" recently following that programme on ITV, The Biggest Loser. The personal trainers on there seemed to use them quite alot. Some of the contestants on there were rather large and very unfit and I often used to think, my goodness, someone loo...

Re: Big cats!!!

I'm sorry but this did make me chuckle.
In May this year someone left a giant stuffed "white tiger"cuddly toy in the hedge by the Rose Bowl cricket ground. It caused a major police incident. You've got to laugh!!

Re: do any laners buy there grocerys online

I do ASDA shopping on-line virtually every week and I'm very impressed with the whole service. They always deliver on time within the time slot and I've never had any 'major' problems with the stuff i've received or even the substitutes. Once I ordered quite alot of fresh meat/chicken and it all had...

Ticks

My friends daughter, who is only two years old, had to go to hospital last night, as she got a tick in her belly button which they presume came from their cat. Poor Erin had to be virtually held down by three people while they got the thing out. It's very important they get the whole thing out and d...
