Re: Budgies Update!

Thank you everyone! And yes Gwenoakes they can be prone to fatty tumours, but normally it is diet related so if you feed them too much of the wrong foods, such as too many sunflower seeds then they are sure to become obese and therefore form fatty tumours, sometimes it can be genetic too, and that i...

Re: Budgies Update!

Thank you everyone, I really am so excited to start breeding, just sourcing all my breeding birds at the moment ready for the breeding season! Well Leo is the one with a blue body and white face, he is a sky blue spangle, which means his wing markings are the reverse of a standard budgie, then I hav...

Re: Budgies Update!

Thanks! Well the only thing is that he is half the size nearly of a normal budgie, very small for a male, so I wouldn't really feel comfortable with breeding from him! Although I think he is beautiful and is my favourite by far, he is not the greatest specimen when it comes to breeding, and I only w...

Re: Proud new owner! :D

Most likely would of been inbreeding with them being within an aviary set up, there is no real control of the birds at all!! Although its the build up of waste in the next box that causes the damage!
