Goodness Lynn, the weather just keeps beating up on you guys! I can only imagine just how tired and frustrated you must all be . Well I can tell you that the Daffodils in our garden are looking like they might bloom soon, and the frogs in the pond must be feeling spring in the air because it's defin...

Re: I want to learn how to knit...

I was just catching up with this thread and wondering how the knitting is going. Don't you let anyone put you off, lift your knitting when you feel in the mood to do it and don't worry when it doesn't go well we all have those days! You will soon get into a rhythm with it and next winter have a love...

Re: Dingdongs frugal february

Everyone is doing so well, I admire anyone who will have a figure of how much they have saved over the month. I know I won't be able to claim a Frugal Feb, maybe I will need to carry the motion over and have a Must do better March!

Re: Dingdongs frugal february

Some good tips there Earlybird, thanks. Lynn, I think its a good idea to try to pay more and build up a bit of extra. I want to do that with the electricity as we use it for everything but the heating. We have gas for that and I think we can get that low enough to pay for straight out, there is only...

Re: What was your favourite childhood programme?

Just catching up with this thread, it's great. I remember Whirlybirds, it was on during the summer holidays and we wouldn't go out until we had watched it! And Follyfoot and all the ones from when I was little, Andy pandy, the Wooden tops and I used to love Tales of the Riverbank. )t'

Our food spend is improving , now I would like to make sure we are paying our bills in the best way for us.The energy companies seem to think they can just deci...
