I have 9 hens, mostly hybrids with the exception of 2 Fenton Roses and 1 Auracana who lay blue egg...

Yes those ring things come off so you can remove the roof, nest box etc. it has lttle wedge things you gently hammer in - which it has been put togethe...

For sale; Solway Eco Hen Loft : NOW SOLD

I bought this 2 years ago to house some extra hens - but since I also have a Cube, they have always tended to pile in there together! They only ever used it to lay eggs in and now don't even do that. It sleeps 6 hens, or more banties. Really easy to keep clean (and the red mite away) by the blast of...

Re: Whats the one thing you hate about keeping chickens ?

It doesn't happen here either Paul, but I've had 'friends' joke about that when we've sadly lost girls It has been said to me before now too. Now I just retort something like, "wow there are some really strange people in ((name place or town)), you guys really eat your pets when they've died!&...

Re: watery poo

Mabel could drink for England but she ate ok. whatever I did she still squished white water. The vet couldn't find anything wrong but gave ...
