We bought 50 day old Black Rock chicks and had 1 cockerel and 49 hens. These are the offspring of that one cockerel. So not technically a Black Rock, but almost. Free for someone, even if you only want to eat him. I'd rather someone make use of him than him just getting the chop and going to waste.

I saw someone using wooden clothes pegs on TV the other day which seemed like a good idea because you can clip them onto pots.

Yeah, we've got about 40 chooks and 6 ducks, but they're not allowed in this garden unless I get a problem with Caterpillars and then I let a couple in.

Thanks for the comments. I use Garlic in just about everything I cook, so save quite a bit of money by growing my own. The same goes for Onions, I can't get enough of them.
