Re: Pooy feathersBenny & Co..We have had Omlet girls before and lost my first one after 6 months. This Miss |Pepperpot was to replace her + one other a gingernut ranger..I just don't understand how she had lost all her "fluffy knickers" in one week ..and no sign of a feather.

help please..I have managed to bath Eva today after still having a poopy bum...Now I have found her bum has no feathers at all (oven ready ) It really looks sad.I was quite upset. No feathers came off in the bathing water and I have not noticed any feather plucking, none in the nest box or Walk-in-Run .... Help!...

Mixing new and old again...sorry another questionMy 2 new girls are in 1 run the old girls in another .There is only chicken wire between them ..It has been a week now and although they mixed for a bit on Sunday with only success while the meal worms lasted they have not mixed since. Pooy feathersOne of my new girls a Miss Pepperpot has a really poopy bottom. She laid her egg this morning before I had a chance to clear the nest box out as her new little friend slept in there. I can not catch her as she is still so nervous and I am going to try and snip it off when she is eating meal worms .....
Re: why are hens fussyMy 2 "old girls" don't like carrot , cabbage (unless it is cooked) shame as we have 2 allotments full of it, they don't like lettuce much which is good as it gives them the poops.They are not that keen on pellets but will eat them if nothing else. They love sweetcorn, tomato ,pasta , cooke...

If I have a problem which is not often , I can be assured that a few moments with or watching my girls puts things in prespective..Would not change them for anything.
