I'm preparing myself to go shopping ... ...but first i have to shave (or clip rather, with my clippers) my head and face, so I'm just psyching myself up for that! Rainy day here so I won't be mucking out the 'ladies' at the moment... ..not a job I'm going to enjoy - anyway it's IMPOSSIBLE to do with...

AHA! Ahead of you there Richard! Here's a little film of my ladies following a bag of apples on the way across the paddock to their coop. (but they follow me most places funnily enough!) Chickens love their freedom and to find a nice dusty spot to lie back in the sun...

...I either whistle, or if I want them in REALLY quickly...

...I wave a slice of bread at them..

Thanks for your replies... ... I checked, no whiteness under the leaves - the rusty spots are same either side. I'll do what you say and earth up well, I've added some nutrients already and watered those in - I'll try to find a copper based spray and use that - see if it makes any difference. What a...
