Pallets is a good idea - I get as many as I want from the local garden centre for free!

The spikey things are called Metpostâ„¢ by the way.

Thanks for your replies!

I've got some more smoke bombs coming and also a couple of humane mole catchers...

...if those don't do the job then the only thing left is the tunnel trap.

[quote="Effie"]Expensive pest deterrents are available on 'concept research', google it. They are top quality, price but effective. We had cat one, Dad had cat and fox, I think. Last time I looked, I think there was one for moles.[quote] Yes, that was the first line of attack I tried - did...

That's ok... ... it's only when you see the damage moles can do to your property. People say to dig up the soil from mole hills for potting - but i've already moved 5 barrows of the soil now. The amount of tunnels under the grass is getting to be stupid now - I drove my mower/tractor thing out there...

A mole problem.

I've done a search through this forum, and all I could find was some funny posts where people have threatened to bury moles alive!?!? lol! Anyway, my problem is, we have moles - not sure how many, but a couple at least. What I want to know is, and I know this may get a few replies from people that l...

My wife recently did a bit of scrapbooking for a mag, but doesn't do that mainly - her thing is altered art. ...and remember a lot of people just keep adding and adding - my advice would be to know when to stop. Another good idea is to practice on scraps of paper - who knows when you may need that w...

I'd echo Richard (again) ... ...we have a silkie cockrel, and he is a right pain. The noise isn't too bad - he tends to make noise like a guard dog barking etc at other birds and animals... ..but he's attacked my son, and recently attacked me twice - a swift kick up the bum sorted him out though! Th...

:( Poor Ginger. I have the same problem with one of mine just prolasped a couple of days ago - I've tried everything but it keeps popping out of her - I fear I may have to put her out of her misery since things aren't getting better - she's in an old rabbit hutch (a big one) but I think tomorrow I s...

Well done ! Shame they peck all your hair out like that though My 5 y/o beats them to it! Yeah they are all in good condition, apart from the throats, which are almost all featherless. The 'leader' of the new ladies attacked Rhydian our cockerel when I got confused about which one was meant to be i...
