This has happened with my girls too. I usually get three to four eggs a day but now am only getting two per day. I am not at all concerned about this but it is worth considering whether the extreme weather we are having is affecting them.

Thank you for your reply Mercedes (or was it Lyn)? It seems to me both the mother and the child are being abused here. I am a mother and there is no way I would not have picked up my child and released him. Perhaps she was frightened of the consquences. It all seems terribly wrong to me.

I have not seen this programme but it seems extremely worrying. This is child abuse.....What was the mother doing while the step father metted out this punishment?
