Hi all,
I have a whole bunch of slug pellets that I have stopped using. (these ones- http://www.qvsshop.co.uk/triple-pack-of ... 2609-p.asp) for eco reasons. I have a couple of pots left. If anyone would like them let me know.

French DrainHi Everyone, I am currently digging out and laying my first french drain. I have read to line it with a fabric. Will this be too thick at 125gsm? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/GREEN-125GSM-Extra-Heavy-Duty-Weed-Control-Driveway-Garden-Fabric-Pegs-Option-/121507545174?pt=UK_Home_Garden_Garden_Plants_Fert...
Re: Fleece, netting and such likeI bought some similar items not long ago. This company sell polythene sheeting in a number of sizes http://www.qvsshop.co.uk//polythene-sheeting-137-c.asp and I also picked up a roll of Fleece from them. Just had a look and they also do a range of netting. Hope that helps.

Re: SquirrelThanks for your replies. As the feeders are hanging from a wall a few of these options are not viable for me. Think I will give the chilli powder a try though. If that doesnt work I may have to start down the capturing route...
Thanks again for the ideas Ross
Re: SquirrelFingers crossed someone has an idea! He doesn't scare very easily either. I scare him away and he's back 5 minutes later!

SquirrelHello
Just wondering if anyone has any ideas on how I can stop a squirrel getting at our bird feeders? He is not only putting the birds off coming to the food he is also breaking the wire on the feeders. Anything that would put if off coming to them? Thanks, Rosss
Re: BlueberriesThanks Mrs. B i will keep an eye out for those. I have in the meantime bought one from the gardening centre. I went for the 'Patriot' variety in the end as the assistant at the shop recommended it for its sweet flavour. Got a good price too!
Re: BlueberriesWow. Thanks for all the replies. Lots of helpful information there. Off to have a look to see what they have at my local garden centre later on.
Thanks again Ross
BlueberriesHello
I'm thinking of planting some blueberries and was wondering if anyone has an opinion on which would be the best to plant? I'm looking for one with a sweet berry. Please let me know if you have any suggestions and also any tips for growing them would be much appreciated. Thanks Ross |
