I've just ordered my chickens, eglu, feed etc ... not sure yet when everything will arrive. I am now SO nervous! I've never had pets on my own before!

I think it's now between the eglu and a very cute wooden chicken house that has a heart-shaped window (I'm so easily swayed ...) - but trying to be practical! The benefits of the eglu so far as I can see are the plastic/easier to keep out red mite and the skirtin...
