Re: Thinking of owning chickensMy Pekins are great Characters,but the can be very noisy throughout the day. It's the smallest that shouts the loudest! They lay pastel shelled eggs too,very pretty and more yolk than white which is how I like them.

Re: Cockerels?It's a no go,as we are in a Council property no Cockerels allowed...and if we are planning on keeping Chickens we have to apply in writing with the measurements of the coop. Hmmm best keep stcum then !
