Hi smudgerii Mine eat all table scraps ( not meat ), any insect they can get their beaks on !especially snails, all my weeds grass cuttings mashed rosehips windfalls (especially plums) I grow their own spinach and lettuce from seed so far the list that they dont eat is non existant ! you should allw...

Ive got the same problem at the moment Luckaloo spent all day once again scrubbing and spraying the coop with poultry shield,I also use red mite powder and diatomus earth n their dustbaths and arround the coop,I am plagued at the moment with red mite and poultry louse which are really tiny and grey ...

Hens mounting hens!

Hi all , just wondered if anyone can shed any light on this,one of my sussexs is mounting the others and being very convincing!(tail dipping,grabbing back of neck while on top etc)
she is even trying to crow!
is this like dogs a dominance thing ?

Welcome Stoofer, yep they will eat anything managed to get a mouse off of my amber star on Monday she had a death grip on it and had eaten part of the poor thing !YUK mouse flavoured eggs !

So relieved to see this thread,my dogs eat the pellets from the feeder and as much poo as they can before I catch them! :shock:

Lol Sandy , mine eat just about anything except cooked peelings and carrots ! They even tried a poorly dove that had landed in our garden luckily we were arround to save it from that fate ! :?
