Thank you I'm certainly going to try beetroot and maybe spring onions and other salad veg. I must admit I hadn't considered strawberries but will give them a try.

what plants to grow in veg trugs?

I've got a couple of veg trugs and would love to know what veg other people grow in them.

I'm really boring and grow cauliflowers, cabbage and broccoli. I'd be really grateful for advice in what other veg people grow successfully in trugs

Thank you. She hasn't any of the other symptoms you mentioned. We kept her in over night and today she's just been wandering about. She isn't eating apart from some cat food she pinched from the cat bowl. She laid but we found the egg broken so must have been very soft. Tried calling local vets but ...

Thank you. I'm not sure which of my chickens it is but they all appear in good health. They always have access to oyster shells and have a good quality layers mash. Is there anything else I should be giving them.?

chicken laying egg without a shell

One of my chickens has started to lay eggs without a shell. Not all the time but every so often

Thank you for the advice. I'll certainly cut down on the lettuce.

I use Flubenvet to de worm according to the instructions.

What other veg do people give their chickens. I've tried potato peelings lightly steamed and they have looked at me as if I've gone mad. They only seem to like green veg
