I too am looking forward to tomorrows rehoming, hubby and I have labelled the new crates and put the securing clips on too. Mobile internet here is rubbish! So, nite nite all and to those coming to the farm....see u bright and early and drive safe.

I am so sorry to hear you lost one of your ladies. It is always best to take on 3 as a minimum as it can sometimes happen that one will not make it. The life in the cages does knock it out of them, their bones are weaker because of the lack of natural light and the rehoming day itself is a stressful...

Hiya, I have built my girls a dustbath in their run, I filled it with a mix of soil from my beds in the garden and some childrens play sand. (dont use builders sand unless you want orange hens!) HTH Taz xxxx
