hehehe turns out neighbour.. hid chicken and put it in back garden for a joke!! very funny.. well is now.. so chickens not going for a walk after all.. thats good.. xxx

5 of our chooks are RIR.. they were ex free range girls.. but lovley birds a bit shy, but not flighty and friendly once they know you.. quite big looking birds compared my other ex batts.. nice colors.. like someone said, square bodies.. sold looking.. and now laying eggs too. although not them all..

This morning bright and early i let 11 chickens out to play.. and eat! later on went over to see them..and only 10 were there.. searched all over... no sign... About 20 mins later, my husband said- come here quick..and sure enough..there was twinkle in the back garden.. woow safe and sound.. However...
