Re: Vicar living the simple lifeHavn't watched it yet, hope to see it this week. Firstly people are more polite and go o...
Re: Smelly duck Egg!!!!That's right we do not lock them up at night...they are in a garden with a 6foot high chain link fence...to keep the children in but I do not think it would keep foxes out. the hens are safe and sound in an omlett cube and the rabbits are in an omlett rabbit hutch, but the ducks just sleep wherever....
Re: Smelly duck Egg!!!!If I knew how to edit I would change the word to ducks.......!!!!!
Re: Smelly duck Egg!!!!The problem with my ducks is they do not live in a duck house as such, they have a dog kennel full of lovely straw...all cosy... but do they go in it? NO so they just lay their eggs wherever they are! at the moment in the sludge and worse....We did try shutting them up at night for safety, but as th...

Re: Food recyclingJust been checking out price of the bran stuff for bokashi bins and the price quoted by p.penn is quite high, it is available for 6kg for £25.42 .... I think this amount would last a long time. Hmmmmmmmm will have to think about this and shop around the web a bit more.
Re: Food recyclingWhere we used to live we could put raw fruit and veg in with garden rubish in a green bin. Now we live 10 miles away we can only put garden rubbish in??? Luckily I compost our stuff but still don't understand the difference.
Does anyone use a bokashi bin? (think that's the spelling) |
