Re: Help with basic wiring

Pretty much what I was going to say, the wiring is fairly straight forward but running them outside is not always the easiest thing. You can buy bulkhead lights such as this m and run the cable in conduit to minimise the risk of getting a shock. When buying a fitting look at the IP (ingress protecti...

Re: A....di products

Aldi are good for certain things, their beer is good value and prepacked stuff like jams and marmalades, biscuits, cakes etc I have never had cause to complain about. I dislike the way they do special offers as in not enough stock. take that whisky offer unless you were there at sparrow chuff you wo...

Well done Orfy )t'

Just shows how useless the RSPCA can be at times, I have had to contact them a few times and had a very poor response. I don't give them a penny these days.

Re: Rat trapped in the run overnight

Rats will be about regardless if there are chooks or not, they are after food, the more food there is the more rats there will be, simples. Think your dentist knows as much about chooks as I know about dentistry. Getting rid of your chooks will probably make no difference to the rats. Rats do carry ...

Re: Damn foxes

Problem is now that your fox knows its easy pickings and really needs to be dealt with. Another fox will replace it but hopefully wont have the same knowledge.

If you free range them then it is always a risk and its not "if" its "when" {cry}

Re: Celebs, Twitter and Facebook

Twitter is certainly used as a marketing tool, not just by individuals but by companies as well, I know someone who has a job at £35k plus and she is responsible for the companies presence on Twitter, nice work if you can get it )t'

I see what you mean now, I can see that they wouldn't work in your average three bed semi but no reason why it wouldn't work in an outhouse that has a corrugated roof similar to the one in the clip ??

Pity it wont work here.

I don't need it in this small house but anything bigger and I would consider solar tubes, they help a lot.

Why wouldn't it work over here ?
