Hi, if your hut is sat direcly on the flags and the damp is on the floor and around the bottom of the sides it sounds like rising damp. I get all my wood chip from the council (grounds and park maintenance) you turn upto the yard and help yourself to as much as you like when you like and its all free. You will also be supprised at what else you can get from there, i just got 15 - 20m of chicken wire 900mm wide and enough 3x2 to buil...

yes they stay in there most of the time and go outside under supervision the small fence is to keep the dog away until they are settled. The small fence is only temp as iam making a bigger enclosed run for them next week all from free materials that will keep chooks in and more importantly preditors...

Im certainly no expert but it sounds like youve done every thing you can for the night. With the description of the wound it sounds more like a tear than anything else good luck at the vets keep us all informed.

Yes ive got some pics i will upload some shortly. Ive got 4 girls 2 White Sussex - Annie and Ruby and 2 Black Rock - Xena and Goldie.
We got them on Monday and they have already graced us with 5 eggs :-D

New to the forum Hi all
