Well, between the rows, in a contrast colour, there is a row of little vertical stitches like this l l l l I don't know if you follow patchwork heart, but she does it. Re: To Kill a Mockingbird reboots!

I read this for my English Lit 'O' Level that I took in 1976, so probably not my favourite book as it was just school work, maybe I should pick it up again... The other book was One Day in the Life of Ivan Denisovich by Alexander Solzhenitsyn which I seem to remember enjoying more, not sure if I cou...

Re: Teeth all gone, now it's the Gums !!!!

Sorry cannot help but good luck!

My dad had all his teeth out in his 20s, the result of lack of nutrition in the war maybe, and wore dentures all his life until he died at 62. He never seemed to have a problem with them though.

Hope you get on ok Richard x

Re: Positive about sorting my weight this time...

I'm a bit slilmmer now Kate but I've only lost about 10lbs since then. I had to maintain my weight for 3 months as part of the weight loss thing I'm doing (just to prove I could do it because most people always put the weight back on) You have achieved what most people never can, and done without f...

I read that somewhere else about cooking a chicken in it, I guess it doesn't brown but we chuck the skin away anyway. Is it very moist? My old man is a right fuss pott and likes meat reasonably 'dry'....

Re: Slow Cooker Question

Made steak and kindey for a pie filling this week and fried the onions a bit first to soften them and it came out perfect I think the thing you said Saint-Spoon about veg needing higher temperatures hit the nail on the head - the first time I cooked it on high and the onions were fine, the next time...
